CANDY PRATTS PRICE, Executive Producer

Candy Pratts Price has dedicated her prodigious career to innovating many of the world’s most legendary institutions and brands including Style.com, Vogue.com, Bloomingdale’s, Roger Vivier, Tod’s, and Ralph Lauren.

She is known for creating rich fashion experiences, and is credited with implementing the original Bloomingdale’s “vignette window” concept. Candy later brought this ingenuity to television, when she was appointed Creative Director of the nationally televised VH1/Vogue Fashion awards in 1999. She conceived and directed the program’s entire fashion content.

Candy was also an early visionary in the digital realm, and propelled Style.com into a global phenomenon during her tenure at Condé Nast. As the Internet exploded, Style.com became the most viewed fashion website worldwide.

Garnering numerous accolades and awards for her work in the visual design fields, Candy was nominated for an Emmy for the CandyCast web series in 2007. She received the 2008 Council in Fashion Designers of America’s prestigious Eugenia Sheppard Award for excellence in journalism. She also authored American Fashion Accessories, a book commissioned by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. She has been invited to deliver keynote addresses at fashion events around the world, from the United States, to Brazil, to India.

A native of New York City, Candy is a graduate of FIT and former faculty member at Parsons School of Design. She is currently a contributing editor of Departures, and sits on the GlassView and VFiles boards.
